Obituary – Sheila Elaine “Grammie” Gall

Sheila Elaine “Grammie” Gall, 72, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, at her home in Oxford.
The funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, from 4 p.m.until 7 p.m. in West Hall at Waller Funeral Home.
Born in Gardner, Mass., to the late Robert Charles and Norma Elaine Jacobson Burnham, Ms. Gall was a longtime member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and VFW Auxiliary. She retired as a bookkeeper from Home Depot. Ms. Gall was an active volunteer with Relay for Life as well as Vacation Bible School where she loved leading Bible story time with the children of St. Andrews.
Survivors include three daughters, Stephanie Chatham, and her husband, Ted, of Dorsey, Miss., Mandy McCord, and her husband, Donnie, of Oxford, and Joanna Bolger, and her husband, Rusty, of Oxford; a son, Jay Gall, and his wife, Lindsay, of Oxford; a sister, Peggy Tidwell, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a brother, Steven Burnham, and his wife, Susie, of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Tyler Gall, of West Point, Miss., Taylor Hall, of Dorsey, Maggie Gall, of West Point, Miss., Kathryn McCord, Abbee Bolger, Logan Bolger, and Oakley Gall, all of Oxford; one great-grandchild, Sara Elizabeth Gall; and two nephews, Monty Montgomery of Murfreesboro, and Robby Montgomery, of Columbia, Tenn.
