Obituary – Clifford Edward Woodruff, Jr.

Clifford Edward Woodruff, Jr., 80, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford. Interment will be at Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Woodruff worked at numerous universities throughout his life from Vice Chancellor of Information Technologies at the University of Mississippi to retirement from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas in 2010. He was a member of North Oxford Baptist Church and a member of the Lions Club of Oxford.
Mr. Woodruff is survived by his wife of 46 years, Verley Jean Woodruff, of Oxford; four sons, Jason Woodruff, of Oxford, Garrick (Traci) Woodruff, of Houston, Texas, Rick (Stacy) Woodruff, of Woodstock, Ga., and Clifford “Trey” (Jennifer) Woodruff, III, of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Whitney (Caleb) Lancaster, Bryan Woodruff, Gavin Woodruff, Brad (Bethany) Lerille, Christie Woodruff, Charlotte McClain Woodruff, Madison Olivia Woodruff, and Marleigh Grace Woodruff; and his great-grandchildren, Payton Lerille, Cole Lerille, Ellie Mae Lerille, Henry Woodruff, Ryder Lancaster, and Everleight Grace Lancaster.
