The holiday season is here, and Oxford Community Market is bringing back one of its cherished yearly traditions.
Next month, the Holly Jolly Holiday Market returns for its third year, featuring locally sourced food and handmade gifts, among other items. The market will be held at the Old Armory Pavilion from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 3, 10 and 17. This year marks the first time the Holiday Market is expanding to three days.
“We’re excited to offer an alternative to the stress of holiday shopping by showcasing beautiful locally crafted items for shoppers looking for unique, personalized gifts,” said Betsy Chapman with Oxford Community Market. “We will have locally wildcrafted decorative wreaths, handmade pens, Christmas tree skirts and stockings and ornaments (which) are great for stocking stuffers, teacher’s gifts and hostess gifts.
The market will feature dozens of farmers, food artisans and craftspeople selling their goods. Holiday food available at the market includes jams, jellies, homemade pasta, honey and barbecue sauces.
Oxford Community Market’s 2019 Local Gift Guide will also be available at the Holiday Market as well as on their Facebook page.
The Holiday Market will conclude the 2019 season for the Oxford Community Market, which runs every Tuesday from late April to December.
