Richard William Brooks, 64, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- North Mississippi in Oxford.  No services are planned at this time.

Richard was a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn.  He was a retired computer programmer at the University of Mississippi and had also worked as a cashier at the Chevron gas station near the University.  

Richard is survived by his sister, Cathy Abel, and her husband, Joey, of Memphis, Tenn.; his brother, Carlin T. Brooks, Jr., and his wife, Teresa, of Abilene, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
