Obituary – Geneva Ruth Whitt Killion

Geneva Ruth Whitt Killion, 90, died on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Miss. She was born in Senath, Mo., on Aug. 7, 1929. On Oct. 31, 1947, she married James Roy Killion and their life together lasted 62 years. In 1951, she became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to which she remained faithful until her death.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at 11 a.m. in Oxford. Lawrence Bell will be presiding. There will be no gathering afterwards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, “Jim”, and her two sons, “Jimmy” and “Randy.” She leaves behind her two daughters, Toni King, of Abbeville, Miss., and Teresa Riley, of Leesville, La., and their children, Paul, Sabrina, Pepper, Catrina, Shane, Bridget, Rex, Sundye, and Brandye. She also leaves behind her greats and great greats, and her sister, Betty Joyce Downy, of Lake St. Louis, Mo.
