Ole Miss announces 2020 football schedule

The SEC announced completed 2020 football schedules for all 14 teams on Wednesday, including the full slate for the 2020 Ole Miss Rebels.
Ole Miss will open their season with another game in NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, this time against Baylor. It’s a building that’s been good to Ole Miss of late. The Rebels opened the 2018 season with a 47-27 win over Texas Tech. Like Ole Miss, Baylor is a team that’s struggled lately, winning just eight games combined over the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
The most glaring part of the 2020 schedule comes right at the start of conference play. In a brutal three game stretch starting Sept. 19, Ole Miss will play Auburn at home, travel to LSU and then return home to play Alabama.
Rounding out the slate of home conference games in 2020 is Florida and Mississippi State, another Thanksgiving Day game to end the regular season. The Rebels will also host Southeast Missouri, Middle Tennessee and Georgia Southern at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
