Obituary – Corine Orange

Corine Orange, 98, formerly of Oxford, Miss., died Thursday, July 25, 2019, at A.G. Rhodes & Rehab in Marietta, Ga.
Family visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Serenity-Williams Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Clear Creek Missionary Baptist Church of Oxford. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Serenity-Williams Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
On July 26, 1920, Corine was born in Panola County, Miss., to the late Edna Smith and Edward Smith. She and her twin sister, Lorine, were the youngest of six daughters. On September 15, 1942, Corine married Ernest E. Orange, and in their 57-year union, they were blessed with seven children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her five sisters, and her loving daughter, Ernestine Hoskin. Corine leaves to cherish her memory her six living children:
Frank Orange (Debra); Jesse Orange (Yzonna); Ellis Arnold Orange (Vernesia), all of Oxford; Patsy Ann Pattman (James, Sr.), of Roswell, Ga; Ruby Nell Patton (Alvin), and Edna Ruth Orange, both of Powder Springs, Ga. Corine also leaves to mourn her departure her 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of family friends.
