Oxford Police investigating weapons stolen from local pawn shop

The Oxford Police Department is investigating a robbery where a burglar stole weapons from a local pawn shop off North Lamar Boulevard over the weekend.
OPD officers were called to Oxford Pawn Shop at around 8 a.m. on Sunday, February 17, for an alarm call, according to police.
When police arrived, it was discovered that the pawn shop had been burglarized of a number of weapons. OPD did not specify what kind of weapons were stolen and did not know the number of weapons that were stolen.
OPD, Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
