Ernie Lee Isom, 68, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Serenity-Martin Funeral Home in  Oxford.

Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at noon at Mount Ollie M.B. Church in Potts Camp, Miss. Burial will follow at Mount Ollie Cemetery.

Mr. Isom was a deacon, Sunday School superintendent and a member of VFW Post 12121 and the 32 mile crew, as well as a graduate of Potts Camp High School. He attended Rust College.

Mr. Isom was an honorable veteran and retired from MDT Engineering after 28 years.

Loving memories are left with his wife Thelma, son Robert, daughters Kimberly and Krystal, six grandchildren and his siblings Frank, Naymoned Roosevelt and Earlie Isom, Betty Allen, Myra Scales and Alma Manning, as well as other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Serenity-Martin Funeral Home of Oxford has charge of arrangements.
