Mary Hazel Coleman Ragland, 93, went to be with the Lord May 11, 2018.  The funeral service will be held Monday, May 14, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. David Ard officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

A native and life-long resident of Lafayette County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd D. Coleman and Bertha L. Coleman. Hazel retired from Oxford Women’s Clinic after 30 years of service.

She loved the Lord and was a devoted member of the Church of Christ in Oxford.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis E. Ragland and son, Ottis Ragland “Randy” Ragland.

Hazel is survived by her sister, Lynville Stalnaker of Olive Branch, Mississippi; brother, Dwain Coleman of Memphis; daughter, Cindy Ragland of Madison, Wisconsin; son, Rex Ragland (Pam) of Olive Branch, Mississippi; daughter-in-law, Brenda Hillhouse of North Hollywood, California; three grandchildren, Haley Thomas of Collierville, Tennessee, Reid Ragland of Denver, and Shannon Ragland of Memphis; one great-grandchild, Margaret Thomas of Collierville, and many nieces and nephews.
