Maryl Grisham, 61, passed away on March 29, 2018, at home in Lafayette Springs, Miss., attended by hospice and friends Debbie Jenkins, Cindy Holly and Ginger Pruett.

Maryl was born in Lexington to Hosea Allan and the late Mary Norwood Grisham and spent most of her childhood there.

She leaves behind her stepmother, Paula Mitchell Grisham, uncle Joe Norwood and his family, friend Deborah Bennett and special friends, Mr. H.C. Franklin, his daughter Susan and his son and daughter-in-law, Hugh and Linda, whom she thought of as her extended family.

Maryl donated her body to medical science (Genesis), which had always been her wish.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

She had asked that any donations in her honor be made to animal rescue shelters.
