To everyone who has showered Eddie with expressions of love and support the past few days, we are beyond grateful.

The Lafayette community’s rallying around him in so many ways has touched our entire family. We will never forget those who were willing to give blood for him and the many who contributed to a love gift to help with the expenses at MD Anderson. The notes, cards, posters, and social media messages to and about Eddie have really lifted his spirits. The first thing he did after surgery was re-read those messages.

We especially appreciate the hundreds of prayers that have been raised for Eddie. We feel them and God‘s presence with us. May God bless each of you.
