Maxine Harmon Morris

Mrs. Maxine Harmon Morris, 62, passed away, Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at her home with family in Paris, Miss. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at 11 a.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Paris Cemetery. Rev. Dale Beaver and Bro. Rick Glywell will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Maxine was born in Water Valley, Miss. She married the love of her life, Gary Morris, at the age of 15. They were married 46 years. Maxine was a 16 year breast cancer survivor. She was a beautician for over 20 years and took pride in her work. Maxine was fascinated with her job as a retail manager at Cato, where she worked for 10 years. Maxine loved nothing more than her family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Gary Morris of Paris; her mother, Lottie Fay Harmon of Paris; three children, Lisa (Robert) Coleman of Oxford, Christy (Rob) Reinstetle of Bowling Green, Ky, and Kari Morris of Batesville, Miss.; six grandchildren, Brandi Young, Brittany Thurber, Kelli Coleman, John Coleman, McKenzie Delleo, and Cale Reinstetle; and one brother, Marty (Debbie) Harmon of Paris.

Maxine was preceded in death by her father, Marton Harmon; and three sisters, Cynthia Harmon, Diana Harmon, and Regina Fielder.
