Due to the Christmas holidays, Oxford and Lafayette County government offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Oxford Environmental Services will pick up garbage, recycling and rubbish normally collected on Mondays on Tuesday, and Tuesday’s route will be collected Wednesday.

Lafayette County Solid Waste Department will pick up garbage normally scheduled for Monday on Wednesday.

Buses with the Oxford-University Transit System will not run on Monday.

The U.S. Post Office will be closed Monday.

Parking around the Downtown Square will be free on Monday.

The Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library will be closed Saturday through Tuesday and will reopen Wednesday.

The Oxford EAGLE will not publish a paper on Christmas and offices will be closed.
