Mr. Todd Anderson and Mrs. Lori Standridge of Benton, Arkansas announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Paige Anderson, to Bradley Douglas Shields, son of Doug and Becky Shields of Oxford.

The couple will exchange vows on Nov. 4, 2017, at the Oxford Church of Christ in Oxford. Family and friends are invited to attend.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dewell Anderson and Sandra Anderson of Benton, and Jerry Measel and the late Charlotte Measel of Benton and works at Shields & Associates in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Dr. Douglas Shields Sr. and Mrs. Cora Beal Shields of Oxford and the late Watson Bradley and the late Bertha Bradley of Nashville.

After graduating from Oxford High School with honors in 2008, he graduated with honors in 2012 from Harding University. He was an M.D./Ph.D. scholarship recipient at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he is currently an M.D./Ph.D. candidate in the class of 2020.
