Ole Miss’ football players were blindsided by the news of Hugh Freeze’s resignation as head coach last week after it was discovered that Freeze used a school-issued phone to make calls tied to escort services.

Freeze met with the team one last time Thursday before offensive line coach Matt Luke took over as the interim coach. Some players met with the media Monday for the first time since Freeze’s departure.

Watch quarterback Shea Patterson, offensive lineman Javon Patterson and defensive lineman Breeland Speaks talk about how they received the news, their thoughts on Luke and more in the following videos.
