Lovepacks thanks the community for support

As we reflect on the 2016-2017 school year, Lovepacks would like to express its sincere thanks to all those in the Oxford/Lafayette/University community who have supported us this year. Unfortunately, childhood hunger exists in our great community. Because of the support of so many, Lovepacks provided food to 175 Oxford and Lafayette school district children each week of the school year.
Lovepacks would like to give a special thank you to: Brent Larson and Larson’s Cash Saver for the many food deliveries; William Norris and Baptist Hospital for providing fresh fruit; FNC for adopting Lovepacks as one of its weekly missions; Oxford Commons for sponsoring their annual bowling charity tournament; Allyson and Darren Ashmore and the Presbytery Youth Council for the awesome new built-ins for our pantry; the “Lovepack Moms” for delivering the Lovepacks each week; Oxford and Lafayette school counselors for being the eyes, ears, and hands of Lovepacks; the University’s Gamma Beta Phi and Dr. Goulet for their consistent food donations over the past eight years; the Oxford Middle School campus for housing our pantry; to the many individuals, churches and civic groups who have supported us with food and financial donations each year; and, finally, the heartbeat of Lovepacks, the OMS Superiors and their teachers, Mrs. Busby, Mrs. Boyd, and Mrs. Turnage for ALL they have done to make Lovepacks work day in and day out!
There have been so many supporters for Lovepacks that we can’t name you all, but we are so very grateful for your generosity. We are blessed to be a part of such a giving community.
Lovepacks is a local 501 (c) three nonprofit, for more information, you can find us at oxfordlovepacks.com or on FB at Oxford lovepacks. Together we can fight childhood hunger in our community!
