The Dovie Johnson Awards Luncheon will be held at 2 p.m.  at the Tallahatchie-Oxford MB Church at 20 Highway 334. Come celebrate the women in our community who are unsung heroes. They work diligently in our churches and community, but never receive recognition and we simply want to acknowledge them. Speaker is Min. Carolyn Wadlington of Second Baptist MB Church under the leadership of the Rev. Andrew Robinson Sr.

The Tobby Tubby MC Church will hold its annual mission program. Sunday school with be at 8 a.m. with the Worship Service at 9 a.m. Host pastor is Lee Robinson.

— 12:05-12:55 p.m. at St. Andrews United Methodist Church

— 6-7:05 p.m. at First Baptist Church
