OAKLAND — Madlen Roberts Pitts, 82, died Saturday, July 30, 2016, at her home in Oakland. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church with burial in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until service time at the church. Seven Oaks Funeral Home of Water Valley is in charge of arrangements.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Pitts, and son John Pitts.

She is survived by daughter Sherry Laredo of New Orleans, Louisiana, daughter-in-law Donna Pitts of Oakland; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
