Police are searching for new leads in the Saturday morning armed robbery at the Regions Bank ATM on Jackson Avenue.
A flyer is being circulated around town with further information in the 5:12 a.m. incident.
According to OPD Maj. Jeff McCutchen, the victim was approached by a black male who came from behind the bank. He was wearing dark clothing and had a red bandana over his face. As he approached he pointed a weapon at the victim and demanded money. He was given money and then he fled the scene.
“We are working with the bank to gather photos,” he said. “Once we have some we will make them available. If you have any information please contact us 662-232-2400 or CrimeStoppers at 662-234-8477.”
