Man faces felony shoplifting charge
A Corinth man was arrested Thursday after Walmart Loss Prevention contacted the Oxford Police Department regarding a man, identified as Brock Bryan, 34, who allegedly took items from the store to his vehicle without paying for them that totaled more than $1,000.
Surveillance video shows Bryan taking the items from the store. He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $5,000 bond.
DUI results in felony arrest
An Oxford woman was arrested Wednesday on her third DUI charge. Oxford Police Department reports that Angela Wells Troy, 39, was charged Wednesday with DUI, third offense as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving and driving while license suspended. Since it was her third DUI arrest, the charge becomes a felony. She was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she was booked on a $1,777 bond.
