Oxford Police investigating possible shots fired at Lafayette Place

The Oxford Police Department is investigating an incident that may have involved firearms.
Officers responded to a call from Lafayette Place Apartments on Monday around 6:30 p.m. for a report of hearing possible gun shots. The officers eventually found a vehicle had been hit in the bumper. Ten .22 caliber casings were also found around the scene.
Witnesses described two people in a vehicle that the OPD believe are the suspects. The first is a black male with tall hair and the second a black male with medium length dreads.
