Two Oxford men arrested for felony embezzlement

Two former Walmart employees have been arrested following accusations they were stealing store merchandise while on the clock.
Keltrick Harden, 26, and Kewan Owens, 22, both of Oxford, were arrested on July 12. The arrest came after loss prevention officers in the store filed a report on July 5 stating that Harden stole approximately $1,011.87 worth of merchandise and Owens stole approximately $1,445.04 worth of merchandise over a two-month period.
Harden and Owens were charged with felony embezzlement and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center. Harden received a bond of $1,000 and Owens received a bond of $1,500 from a Justice Court Judge.
