An employee at a local animal clinic was arrested last week for allegedly selling stolen drugs online.
The Oxford Police Department received a report on Feb. 7 from the Animal Clinic of Oxford saying they suspected an employee, Dominique Carrothers, 24, of Batesville, had stolen medicine from the clinic and was reselling them on the internet.
Investigators set up a meeting with Carrothers who was arrested later in the week and he had over $1,529 worth of stolen merchandise from the clinic in his possession.
Carrothers was arrested for grand larceny and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $2,500 bond.
