WATER VALLEY — Walter Roane “Walt” Hardy Jr., 88, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at his home in Water Valley. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, from 1 p.m. until service time at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, which is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jo Jones Hardy of Water Valley; daughters Libby Harris and Lori Thomas, both of Water Valley; son Walter Hardy III of Tula; sister Myra Nell Johnson of Columbus, Georgia; brothers John Hardy of Hernando and Jim Hardy of Bruce.
