The Oxford School District  Teacher Job Fair will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Oxford High School, 101 Charger Loop, Oxford. The event, which will be held in the school’s commons area, is for teacher and administrator candidates interested in exploring job opportunities in Oxford schools.

The OSD Teacher Job Fair offers educators an opportunity to network and interview for job openings within the school district. Oxford principals and administrators will be on hand to discuss possible job opportunities with educators, as well.

Anyone interested in attending the OSD Job Fair is encouraged to complete a job fair interest form at www.oxfordsd.org/JobFairForm prior to the event. Teacher and administrator candidates are also encouraged to submit an employment application online at www.oxfordsd.org/employment.

On the day of the job fair, educators should bring a current resume and professional portfolio.

Those who plan to attend the event should have one of the following:

•Mississippi preliminary certificate

• professional teaching credential

• professional teaching credential (if from outside the state of Mississippi)

•will have teaching credentials by the fall of 2018

•at least one year of experience in a teaching intern program
