My husband and I were so grateful for your comments about the unfortunate death of Master Sergeant Debra Clayton in Orlando and the sad timing with the comments made by Ms. Streep.

First, we felt that the comments were inappropriate in that venue to begin with.

Second, we are saddened as you are that more attention and concern is not given to one who was clearly a fine police officer who was literally cut down at the age of 42 trying to do her job.   

Master Sergeant (posthumously promoted to Lieutenant) must have been an outstanding citizen and police officer.  Where are those who rally for her?

We seem to have forgotten who the good guys are in this country!  Thank you for pointing out and honoring another murdered law enforcement officer who died trying to keep us safe.
