Wood to lead Regents School

The Regents School of Oxford has chosen a new Head of School who will begin work in the 2017-2018 year.
Jason Wood, recently accepted the position after having worked for five years as headmaster at Heritage Classical Christian Academy in St. Louis, Missouri.
Wood arrives with a decorated pedigree. He earned master’s degrees in education and religion from Geneva College and the Reformed Theological Seminary, respectively. During his tenure at Heritage Classical, Wood grew the student enrollment, led the school through the accreditation process and finished a building campaign for the purchase of a new campus.
Before his time at Heritage, Wood was a high school principal at Trinity Christian School in Kailua, Hawaii where he also served as a youth pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Meghan Berry, the Chair of the Board of Directors at Regents School, said in a release, “We are thrilled to partner with someone of Jason Wood’s caliber. His proven record in Classical Christian education, his passion for his students and his faculty, and his vision for our future will serve Regents well for many years to come.”
“Mr. Wood’s track record of successful leadership coupled with the solid foundation of committed families and the wonderful RSO staff will assure that our community can expect great things from Regents in the coming years,” added current Regents Director of Operations Micah Messersmith.
After multiple interviews, Wood was unanimously selected by the Search Committee and approved by the Board.
Wood and his wife, Erin, have been married for 16 years and have four children.
