Some groceries stores like the regional chain Publix close on Thanksgiving Day. But not Kroger.

If you need some last minute shopping from Kroger you are in luck on Thanksgiving Day since most stores are open, beginning at 6 a.m.

Kroger is one of the nation’s largest grocery chains and while pharmacies inside the stores will be closed on Thanksgiving, Kroger will be selling groceries, for at least part of the day. Stores that are typically open 24 hours will be open 24 hours.

Most other Kroger locations, however, will operate from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. local time.

So, if you forgot the turkey or need some green beans at the last minute, your neighborhood Kroger store like Oxford’s has you covered.
