The Oxford Police Department arrested a man on Monday for a grand larceny that took place last week.
On Oct. 20, the OPD received a report about a stolen vehicle. Information was later received from an anonymous caller that Adam Aguirre, 22, of Oxford, had been driving the vehicle and that the vehicle was on Hathorn Road.
After receiving the information, OPD investigators went to Hathorn Road and located the vehicle. Investigators later linked Aguirre to stealing the vehicle. He was arrested and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked and bond set at $20,000.
