Jennifer Harris to Brandon Anthony

Patricia Knox Harris of Pontotoc, formerly of Greenwood, announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Jennifer Denise Harris, to Brandon Bennett Anthony of Water Valley, son of Pat Dalton Wade of Southaven and Terry Anthony of Water Valley

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m., on Oct. 22 at Charlotte’s Place in Pontotoc. The Rev. Perry Irvin of Greenwood will officiate.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Benny Ray Harris and the granddaughter of Audrey Knox of Greenwood and the late Patrick Knox and the late Ben and Mae Harris of Greenwood.

A 1998 graduate of Greenwood High School in Greenwood, she is employed as a certified pharmacy technician at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Frances Dalton of Water Valley and the late William Dalton of Memphis, and the late Alvin and Sadie Anthony of Water Valley.

A 1993 graduate of Grenada High School, he is employed as sales manager of Autozone in Oxford.

 

Jennifer Sukanek to Raymond Serra

Dr. and Mrs. Peter Sukanek of Oxford announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Anne, to Raymond Nicholas Serra, son of Raymond R. Serra of Silvis, Illinois and Cheryl E. Serra of Gainesville, Georgia.

An October wedding is planned in Decatur, Georgia. The couple will live in Avondale Estates, Georgia.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi, and also received a master’s degree from the University of Missouri in sociology. She is an academic advisor in the College of Education at Georgia State University in Atlanta.

The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Western Illinois University. He received a master’s degree in social psychology from Texas A&M University. He is an insight analyst at SPH Analytics in Duluth, Georgia.
