On April 1, Oxford Police officers responded to Fallsgrove subdivision for an intruder report. The alleged victim told officers that a man followed her home in a white car and then forced his way into her house. Once the suspect left, the woman noticed her cellphone was missing.
After an investigation, phone records showed that Marcus Hilliard, 34, called his own phone from the stolen phone just after it went missing. The woman picked Hilliard from a photo lineup. On April 23, officers responded to an intruder report on North 14th Street. Officers arrived and were told the suspect walked into the home and lied down in the owner’s bed and began to kiss her.
