SOUTHAVEN – Mary L. Randall, 85, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at North Delta Hospice in Southaven. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley with the Rev. Bill Shelby and her grandson, John Randall, officiating. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Booneville, she was a homemaker who enjoyed tending her flower and vegetable gardens, fishing and making memories with her grandchildren. She was a member of Centerhill Church of God in Strayhorn and served in many capacities of her church. She was a strong prayer warrior with a kind and compassionate heart, but her passion was benevolence and she was always looking for ways to help those in need.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Clinton L. Randall, two sisters and seven brothers.
She is survived by daughters Betty Perrine of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Carol Moorman of Water Valley; sons David L. Randall of Southaven and Sammy Randall of Horn Lake; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Veterans Association.
