Melba Bolding Duncan

OXFORD — Melba Bolding Duncan, 87, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at Oxford Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Yellow Leaf Baptist Church with the Rev. Wesley Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Maury City, Tennessee, she was a member of Yellow Leaf Baptist Church. She worked at Neilson’s and found great joy in meeting new people and making new friends. She loved spending time with friends and family. She grew beautiful flowers and vegetable gardens.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Crawford Duncan; brother William Bolding and a great-grandchild.

She is survived by her daughter Martha Hudson of Oxford; son James Glenn Duncan of Oxford; sister Beatrice Boys of Humboldt, Tennessee; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
