LAFAYETTE COUNTY — Ronnie Larrell Hollingsworth, 60, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at his home in Lafayette County. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at noon in the chapel of Coleman Funeral Home with Apostle Eyvone Smith officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Clarksdale, he had lived in the Oxford area for about 28 years. He was a plumber and a retired direct care supervisor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was very knowledgeable about music and especially enjoyed jazz, blues and rock. He was a member of His Harvest Ministries.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother Marvin Curly Ford.

He is survived by his wife Helen Hollingsworth of Oxford; step-children Tammie Lampley of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Teresa Sims and Antonio Barksdale, both of Oxford; sisters Lanita Davis and Beverly Davis, both of Clarksdale; and brother Larry Ford of Horn Lake.
