The new addition to Della Davidson Elementary School not only houses four new classrooms, but it also includes a new private space for interventionists and an additional storage room that will also serve as a tornado shelter. It can accommodate the entire school population in the event of a severe weather situation.

The OECC gym is newly renovated, offering a re-envisioned space for early childhood students. Additionally, there is a new outdoor learning space and updated playground equipment. Interior renovations were made to each classroom and hallway for the spaces to be more welcoming and functional.

The exterior of the building was given a brighter look with a new shade of paint. Lastly, the cafeteria and kitchen have been completely reimagined into a vibrant and inviting space.

These projects were made possible by the support of the Oxford School District Board of Trustees, the leadership of Superintendent Bradley Roberson, Chief Operations Officer Dr. Steve Hurdle, and the staff and administrators of both Della Davidson Elementary School and Oxford Early Childhood Center.
