Stearns to speak at Historical and Genealogical meeting

The quarterly meeting of the Historical and Genealogical Society will meet at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday Oct 20 at the Lafayette County and Oxford Public Library.
Dr. Susan Gaunt Stearns from the University of Mississippi will be the guest speaker. Stearn, author of “Empire of Commerce,” will focus on the development of trade along the Ohio and Mississippi River during the late 18th century.
All are welcome to attend.
