Beryl could send us some rain today, higher chance Tuesday

As remnants of Hurricane Beryl head northwestward, north Mississippi is expected to see some associated rain and thunderstorms over the next two days.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40% chance of rain today, mostly after 3 p.m. The high should be around 92 degrees.
There is also a 40% chance of rain and thunderstorms tonight.
The greater chance for showers and thunderstorms will be on Tuesday.
Currently, there is an 80% chance of rain on Tuesday afternoon after 1 p.m. The high should peak at about 88 degrees and there is expected to be a breeze around 10 mph. The rain could continue into the evening hours.
Should our area actually get the predicted rain this time, our highs are expected to be lower on Wednesday at 84 degrees and Thursday, at 89 degrees.
While there is a 30% of some rain Wednesday, the rest of the week – Thursday through Saturday, is expected to be hot and sunny with highs back around 93-94 degrees.
