Woman faces felony domestic violence charge

A Water Valley woman faces a felony after being arrested on a third domestic violence charge.
According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, on June 25, deputies responded to a domestic violence call on Highway 315 E.
Charges were filed against Toni Elmore, 36, of Water Valley for domestic violence. Elmore was picked up and arrested shortly after at a nearby location after deputies learned Elmore had previous domestic violence convictions in Mississippi and Tennessee.
Elmore was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where she was booked on domestic violence – simple, third felony and given a $25,000 bond.
