The city of Oxford will be improving and upgrading numerous roads this summer, starting with the paving of West Jackson Avenue.
Lehman-Roberts started paving the westbound lane of West Jackson Avenue early Thursday morning. The paving will occur between Fraternity Row and West Oxford Loop and along Home Depot Drive.
Expect traffic delays, lane closures and lane shifts during work hours. Alternate routes are encouraged.
