The Piecemakers Quilt Guild will meet Saturday, May 11, at 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church.

The program will feature several stations showing attendees various quilting techniques and tips. All are welcome.

The Piecemakers formed in 1992 with founder Ann O’Dell serving as the president. Since its beginning, the Piecemakers have had more than 12 quilt shows and a 30th anniversary showing. It is a member of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council.

Through the years the quilts have touched children in Jackson’s Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, Hurricane Katrina victims, Japan tsunami victims, Habitat for Humanity and even in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Women’s Hospital in Tupelo.
