Mary Martha Crowe, Brad Feltenstein and Jason Plunk are candidates who have filed for the special election for the open position of Alderman-At-Large. The filing deadline for qualifying for the election is Wednesday, Jan. 17, about three weeks before the special election.

Balloting will be Feb. 6, with all voting at the Oxford Conference Center. The position is open due to former At-Large Alderman John Morgan being elected in November to become the Lafayette County District 2 Supervisor. 

There will be a short window for absentee ballots prior to the special election, but the dates for absentee voting will be announced at a later date.
