Saluting our front-line heroes
Published 9:22 am Thursday, April 16, 2020
In the face of a pandemic, there are a few people who never back down.
Our essential workers, ranging from the ER doctor working to save their patients’ lives to the person bagging groceries at Big Star, are owed the greatest thanks in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The EAGLE wants to do its part to salute our community’s Coronavirus Heroes.
Through Tuesday, April 21, the EAGLE will be accepting user submissions to be published in a special-edition Coronavirus Heroes publication.
To nominate an individual, all you need to do is click here and answer the included questions – things like the person’s name, their place of work, their job title and a few sentences about what makes them a hero during this time of crisis and every day.
There’s also an option to upload a photo of your coronavirus hero – it can be a selfie on the job, a profile picture from social media – the more faces, the better! This publication is by members of the LOU Community, for members of the LOU Community.
Join us over the next week in saluting our Coronavirus Heroes – we can’t wait to see who you nominate.
