Multiple law enforcement agencies joined forces recently to serve 42 arrest warrants for alleged drug offenses and other felonies in Lafayette County.

This roundup consisted of officers with the Lafayette County Metro Narcotics Unit, Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, Oxford Police Department, the University Police Department, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Mississippi Department of Corrections, Yalobusha County Sheriff’s Department, Water Valley Police Department, and the Panola County Sheriff’s Department.

Most of these warrants are the direct result of the ongoing investigative efforts of the Lafayette County Metro Narcotics Unit.
