Lindsay Reid and Chuck Sherman, managing directors of the Reid Sherman Investment Group, were among the Raymond James-affiliated advisors named to the Forbes list of Top Wealth Advisors Best-in-State.

The list, which recognizes advisors from national, regional and independent firms, was released online on April 8.

Reid and Sherman joined together in 2009 and formed the

Reid Sherman Investment Group. The group joined Raymond James & Associates in 2018, and they have offices located in both Oxford and Tupelo.

Reid Sherman Investment Group was also recognized by Forbes on the 2025 list of Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams.

The Forbes Top Wealth Advisors Best-in-State 2025 ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from June 30, 2023 to June 30, 2024.

The advisors who are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients.

Out of approximately 48,944 nominations, roughly 9,722 advisors received the award.
