The Mississippi Department of Transportation will work on roads in Oxford and Lafayette County next week.

From 8 a.m. on Monday, April 7, through 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, lanes will be closed as needed on South Lamar Boulevard over Highway 6 for bridge deck scanning. Motorists are advised to slow down and be prepared for traffic delays.

From 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, MDOT will close State Highway 310 over Greasy Creek in Lafayette County for bridge repairs. Motorists are advised to take an alternate route.
