The intersection of Anderson Road and Heritage Drive will soon become a three-way stop.
City Engineer John Crawley told the Oxford Board of Aldermen Tuesday that a traffic study was performed at the intersection in September 2024.
“The traffic study showed that it warranted a transition to a three-way stop intersection,” he said at the Board of Aldermen meeting.
Crawley also said that in the future, he expects that intersection to become a signaled stop.
“When and if the north side of Anderson Road develops, it will warrant a traffic light, paid for by the developer,” he said.
The Board approved the request to create a three-way stop at the intersection.
