Lafayette, now 15-8 overall and winners of seven straight matches, will face Corinth in a third round playoff match. The teams have met two times this season with Lafayette winning both matches, once on penalty kicks after the match ended 2-2 and 3-1.

The winner of Lafayette vs. Corinth, scheduled for Tuesday night after the Eagle’s press time, will face South Jones in the state championship title match on February 15 at Germantown High School in Gluckstadt.
