Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Sunday for a possible Careless Driver on Highway 7 South.

The driver, Jazzie Sade Bargman, 32, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Deputies later discovered a firearm inside the vehicle. Bargman is a convicted felon from Texas.

She was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, DUI, careless driving, possession of a controlled substance, seatbelt violation, and no proof of liability insurance. Bargman appeared before a Justice Court Judge on Monday, Jan. 13, and was issued a $15,000 bond.
