University of Mississippi police responded to an unconfirmed bomb threat Tuesday, the second this month.
At about 1:40 p.m. Ole Miss Emergency Management released a statement on social media and through Reb Alert warning people on campus to avoid the Sandy and John Black Pavilion due to the threat.
About an hour later, the University Police Department issued the “all clear” and that all areas of campus can return to normal operations.
On Nov. 3, a Reb Alert was issued in regard to an unconfirmed bomb threat at Weir Hall, Lewis Hall and the Jim and Thomas Duff Center for Science and Technology Innovation. The areas were cleared by UPD and nothing was found.
No arrests have been made.
